Clear Creek Education Foundation to Host “Dine Out to Donate” & “Ride to Give” Opportunity
League City, Texas – The Clear Creek Education Foundation (CCEF) is gearing up to host its fifth annual “Dine Out to Donate” event on Monday, October 1st and is excited to bring back the component, “Ride to Give,” in partnership with the Kemah Boardwalk, that will be available on Friday, October 5th through Sunday, October 7th.
CCEF invites citizens to dine out for education at one of the 64 participating restaurants on Monday, October 1st. The process is simple – patrons enjoy a meal at a participating restaurant, and restaurant proprietors will donate a portion of the proceeds to CCEF to benefit the students and teachers of the Clear Creek Independent School District. All of the proceeds will support CCEF’s many programs including Educational Grants, National Board Teacher Certification and Clear Horizons Early College High School.
The top three CCISD elementary, intermediate and high school campuses with the highest percentage of participation based on student population will win $1,000, $500 and $250 respectively!
La Brisa Mexican Bar and Grill has been a longtime supporter of Dine Out to Donate. Amanda Wilson and the management team at La Brisa is passionate about providing schools and nonprofit organizations with fundraising opportunities. “Both La Brisa locations have participated in Dine out to Donate since it began in 2015,” said Amanda Wilson. “It has been a great opportunity for our family business to give back to the students and staff of CCISD and support education. Thank you CCEF for including La Brisa in this event each year.”
In addition to Dine Out to Donate, CCEF is excited to be hosting “Ride to Give” on Friday, October 5th through Sunday, October 7th at the Kemah Boardwalk. On these days, patrons are invited to purchase discounted amusement ride wristbands to support education excellence in CCISD. Discounted wristbands are $20.99 (regularly $24.99) for anyone 48’’ and over and $15.99 (regularly $18.99) for anyone under 48’’. The Kemah Boardwalk will also donate $4.00 for every discounted wristband purchased to support the many programs of CCEF. To purchase a discounted wristband, please bring the printable flier that can be found on the Foundation’s website. The first 50 wristbands sold will receive a FREE ticket to Stingray Reef.
