CCEF Topgolf Tournament Raises $31,500 for CCISD

The Clear Creek Education Foundation (CCEF) hosted its 5th Annual CCISD Alumni and Friends TopGolf Tournament on November 12th. The tournament hosted many community members and business owners around the area, all enjoying a safe afternoon full of fun, fellowship and prizes! In addition to sponsorships and teams, the Foundation had four amazing experiences all donated and featured on an online virtual auction platform where guests could register and bid starting the day prior to the tournament. CCEF’s slogan for 2020 has been “Supporting Teachers. Our Children’s First Responders.” With a $100 donation going towards the Foundation’s Give-A-Grant Program, guests received a T-shirt with the slogan in return. More than $31,500 was raised at the tournament to support innovative programs in the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD).

The event was planned by a 13 person volunteer committee that included CCEF Community Marketing and Events Manager Kelsey McNeil; Chairman Traci Dvorak; CCEF Executive Director Deborah Laine; Committee Members: Jennifer Broddle, CCEF Chairman Katy Bastedo, Kelli Byrd, Julia Gallagher, Jenny McCorkle, Melinda Mintz, JP Morris, Greg Ploss, Chris Rylant and Jim Stewart.

“After postponing this event multiple times amid much uncertainty, it was incredible to see the community continue to support the Foundation,” stated event chairman Traci Dvorak. “Because of this support and the incredible teachers in Clear Creek ISD, learning and innovation has not stopped during this pandemic.”

This event would not have been possible without the support of all the generous sponsors. CCEF would like to thank them for all their support!
