“Flexible Seating Fun” is a mini-grant awarded to Anna Lowery at Ralph Parr Elementary. With her grant money, she was able to purchase Wobble Stools. These stools allow students who need to wiggle and move around to do so without distracting themselves or others. They also provide appropriate stimulus for students with disabilities and sensory needs.

“While we’ve only had the Wobble Stools a couple of days, I can already see a great benefit for my students,” stated Ms. Lowery. “Kids need to be able to move around and wiggle while learning and the Wobble Stools provide a great opportunity for all kids to stay engaged while doing so. Just in the last two days, I’ve observed several students more on-task and engaged in their work because they’re able to move around and “wobble” freely. They are an awesome addition to my classroom!”
